What is SimpleSurg?

SimpleSurg is a web app designed to turn any PDF form into a smart digital form. It was originally built to streamline surgery booking paperwork, but it works for any industry that fills the same PDF forms repeatedly — medical offices, legal practices, clinics, and more.

If you need a one-time e-signature on a contract, tools like DocuSign may be a better fit. SimpleSurg is built for volume — practices that fill the same forms daily and want to stop re-typing the same information over and over.

Digital Signing

Our digital signing process uses cryptographic techniques to create a tamper-evident signature. When a PDF is signed:

• A unique digital signature is created using a private key stored securely as an environment variable
• The signature certificate is stored in a PostgreSQL database
• The signed document is stored in an AWS S3 bucket
